Little did I anticipate the overwhelming response and love from each one of you, most of whom are not just customers but cherished friends and family.
The decision to commence LoveBites during Chinese New Year was intentional – a time of joy, celebration, and the perfect occasion to introduce my creations to all of you. The response has been nothing short of spectacular, and I am genuinely touched by the immense support and encouragement showered upon this new venture.

From Corporate to Home Baking: A Year of Growth, Gratitude, and Joy
As I reflect on LoveBites’ journey, my heart is filled with gratitude. It’s been a year since I embarked on this adventure during the festive season of Chinese New Year 2024, the Year of the Dragon. What started as a humble home baking venture has flourished into a meaningful pursuit, thanks to the unwavering support of all of you—my cherished friends, family, and customers.
Launching LoveBites during Chinese New Year 2024 was symbolic for me. The season of celebration and reunion was the perfect moment to share my love for baking with all of you. Now, as we welcome the Year of the Snake, I’m amazed at how far this journey has taken me.
One Year of Sweet Moments
2024 was a year of milestones and challenges, but it was also filled with immense joy. Trading my corporate career for a spatula was both daunting and exhilarating. From perfecting recipes to packaging late into the night, every moment has been a labour of love.
The festive season marked another milestone, with offerings like cookies, fruit cakes, focaccias, brownies, and log cakes. It’s been a privilege to be part of your celebrations, from Christmas tables to reunion feasts.
Supporting St. Andrew’s Autism Centre
Beyond baking, LoveBites is about giving back. From day one, we’ve been committed to supporting St. Andrew’s Autism Centre (SAAC). A portion of every sale goes to this meaningful cause, and I’m proud to match these contributions, doubling the impact of our efforts.
While I wasn’t able to volunteer as much as I wanted this past year, it’s heartwarming to know that LoveBites is making a difference in another way. As 2025 unfolds, I’m eager to resume my volunteer work and deepen my connection with SAAC.
